It started with a writing business.
Before Soku Systems, Patrick built OmegaOutdoors.blog into an outdoor content operation with a team of more than a dozen writers. Growth brought admin with it: assignments sent manually, deadlines tracked in spreadsheets, and files stored under inconsistent names in too many places.
It was the kind of operational chaos that does not feel like a serious problem until it starts consuming half the week. That is when the engineering background took over. The instinct was not to hire around the problem. It was to build a system that removed it.
