Internal Operations
Operational answers and updates became available from a text message.
Soku Systems created a mobile AI assistant that can retrieve article information and perform approved record updates without requiring the operator to open a laptop.

Basic operational answers required opening a laptop.
Important article and production information lived in structured records, but accessing it while away from a computer was inconvenient. A simple question about what was due or the status of an article could require stopping, opening a laptop, navigating the system, and finding the record.
Time-sensitive questions could not wait for desk access.
Operational questions do not wait for someone to be at a desk. The business needed a fast way to retrieve reliable information and make simple updates while preserving the central record as the source of truth.
Authorized Notion data became accessible through a controlled SMS assistant.
Soku Systems built an AI assistant accessible through SMS. The assistant can answer questions using authorized Notion records and can perform approved actions such as updating a value or adding a record.
A text message now triggers the right lookup or approved update.
- The operator sends a normal-language SMS question or instruction.
- The assistant interprets the request and looks up the relevant authorized records.
- It replies with the requested status, due date, or article information.
- For an action request, it performs the permitted record operation and returns a confirmation.
- The underlying Notion workspace remains the system of record.
Routine operations can now move forward from a phone.
Routine operational lookup and record maintenance became available from a phone. The operator can answer time-sensitive questions and complete simple updates without returning to a workstation.
